Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Peek Translate, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Service provider

Peek Translate is operated by Dionsys Apps, an independent software business based in Hanoi, Vietnam. For legal and account matters, contact legal@peektranslate.com.

Eligibility

You may use the service only if you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement and are not prohibited from using it under applicable law. If you use Peek Translate on behalf of a company, team, or other entity, you represent that you are authorized to bind that entity to these terms.

Accounts and permitted use

You are responsible for safeguarding your account information, controlling access to your devices, and using the service lawfully. Where billing or account information is required, it must be accurate and kept reasonably up to date. We may suspend or terminate access if we detect fraud, abuse, excessive automated usage, payment risk, or violations of these terms.

Acceptable use

You may not use Peek Translate to violate laws, infringe intellectual property rights, distribute malicious software, abuse automated systems, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with service availability, resell the service without permission, or process content in a way that causes harm to other users or third parties. You remain solely responsible for the text, prompts, files, and instructions you submit through the service.

AI and translation output

Peek Translate uses automated systems and third-party AI providers to generate translations and related output. Results may be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, or unsuitable for legal, medical, financial, compliance, safety-critical, or other high-risk use cases. You are responsible for reviewing output before relying on it.

Pro plan and payments

The Pro plan costs $4.99 per month, is billed on a recurring basis, and renews automatically until canceled. Payments, taxes, invoicing, and certain subscription operations are handled by Paddle as merchant of record. Purchases may also be subject to Paddle's checkout terms, tax handling, and payment verification processes.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription before the next billing date to stop future renewal charges. Cancellation does not retroactively reverse charges already processed for the current billing period unless a refund is approved under the Refund Policy.

Changes to the service

We may modify, improve, limit, or discontinue any part of the website, app, free features, paid features, integrations, or pricing structure at any time. We will not intentionally remove already-paid subscription access before the end of the active billing period except where necessary for security, legal compliance, fraud prevention, or significant operational reasons.

Intellectual property

The website, software, branding, design, and related content are owned by Peek Translate or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Subject to these terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, distribute, sublicense, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the service except where applicable law does not allow that restriction.

Feedback

If you send suggestions, ideas, bug reports, or product feedback, you agree that we may use, modify, and incorporate that feedback without restriction or compensation.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the service immediately if we believe you have breached these terms, used the service unlawfully, created billing risk, caused operational or security issues, or exposed us, our providers, or other users to legal or reputational harm. We are not required to continue providing free or paid access where doing so would create fraud, abuse, or compliance risk.

Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free performance, availability in every country, compatibility with every environment, or suitability for every purpose. No service-level agreement applies unless we have expressly agreed to one in writing.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Peek Translate will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, profits, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from use of the service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any claim related to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for the service in the 3 months before the event giving rise to the claim or USD $50.

Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Peek Translate, Dionsys Apps, and our service providers from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of your misuse of the service, your content, your violation of these terms, or your violation of applicable law or third-party rights.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without regard to conflict of law rules, unless mandatory local consumer laws require otherwise.

Dispute resolution

If you have a dispute or billing concern, you agree to contact us first at legal@peektranslate.com and give us a reasonable opportunity to resolve it informally before filing a legal claim, chargeback, or formal complaint, unless applicable law prevents that requirement.

Severability and waiver

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
